The word in Hebrew for hell is Gehinom, which is a name of a valley near Jerusalem. Hebrews used to sacrifice there.
In short, Jews never used the concept of eternal punishment for sinners, that is a late Christian concept, and even early Christians, who were a Jewish cult at first, did not believe in the concept of hell, that concept was introduced into Christianity at a later period, probably as more powerful tool was needed to keep the faithful in line.

It's a term he made up. He is correct that some people seem to live to bash the Witnesses. Often they are former JWs who are angry for whatever reason (usually they got kicked out and then convince themselves that there is something horribly wrong with the religion.) Other times they are members of other Christian denominations who feel threatened by the JWs . . . which is understandable because of the Christian groups, JWs tend to be among the best educated religiously. As far as whether or not he's a faker, it's difficult to say. Nearly all Witnesses are polite and good representatives of their religion. He could well be an anti-JW troll trying to make them look bad. It's more likely that he has simply gotten a little too . . . invested in YA and needs a break. I've seen good people get obsessed within YA and other sites, and taking a break helped them return to normal. Regardless, I hope you don't judge the Witnesses based on the actions of that one individual. If you have questions about them there are several who could be of help :)

Christianity does not have a hell where there is torture. That concept was invented centuries after the New Testament was written. And Christianity isn't a cult. A cult is a religion that grows up amongst an already established religion and seeks to supplant it. It loses its cult status when it becomes an organized religion with an established creed.

Dear me, christianity aint a cult man, its about relationships with Jesus the messiah. The concept of hell wasnt made by the christians, but it is the dwelling place of the one who was casted down from heaven for betraying the Lord. In all other religions, there is always a place of rejects, named it hell or something else.

There isn't a permanent hell in Judaism. Every soul can, through a process of refinement, reach "heaven." If you sinned a lot, the process can take a long time, and the steps you go through are roughly translated to "hellish."

No, we don't.

Judaism teaches that EVERYONE no matter what religion they are, has a place in the afterlife, if they lead a good and moral life.

And in Judaism in general, the concept of hell, although it is touched upon in our holy books, is not a big area within the faith.

Nope, Jews don't believe in Hell. In the old scriptures if you died and were not worthy of Heaven, you just ceased to be. Christianity brought about the concept of hell, well technically Zoranastrainism brought it about, but that is a whole nother story.

Christianity is not a cult,ok.So,YOU have no sense of justice?
Should God allow everyone into heaven?Should a Judge let a murderer go free?Is a Judge a "cultist" for sentencing a guilty man or woman?
Have you ever lied?Stolen?Looked with lust?Used God's name as a swear word?
If so,then you are guilty of breaking God's law.

Maybe you should reword your question. I am quite certain you're inciting a response more than looking for an actual answer. Or is "provoking" more like it?

Refering to other peoples religions as cults is neither funny nor clever.
