it has a broken leg....... and it's falling off.. i mean that you can see it haning from its leg.... it's fur/skin is not cut all the way but you can see a deep cut through the broken bone.. though.. it has a bandage now.. but my she's waiting till the owner comes and looks for a missing dog....
no one as sent flyers about a missing dog... and my dad doesn't want to pay for the vet to amputated the leg.
what should my sis do ya know.

that dog would be in so much pain. take it to the vet and get it treated or give it to the vet so they can at least give it pain relief. that poor animal.. take it to a vet now..

just think u like that with your leg all cut up where u can see the bone wont u be in pain? that dog in great pain of course the dog wont show the pain cause in the wild if dogs show pain it is a sigh of weakness and the other dogs will kill it but anyways u need to take the dog to the vet asap now not tomm but now in some states if is a thing where they have animal cops if u have it there and they find out that dog like that without it be care for no matter it is your dog or not they still will fine your father or u if u over the age of a adult your best interest is to take that dog to the vet

I agree that the poor animal needs to go to a vet. A few vets won't make you pay if you are not the owner of said animal. That may be a break for you. You can also try your local animal control center. They will often times take in stray animals and get them the proper medical care. Do you have an A.S.P.C.A. where you live? If not a lot of animal shelters are run by A.S.P.C.A. anyway and if you take the dog there then it should be able to get the proper medical care that it desperately needs. I listed a website that talks about reporting strays to animal control.

Drop the dog off at an SPCA. They will either care for the dog or put it down so it doesn't keep suffering. How long has your sister had the dog? When a major bone breaks it bleeds inside. The bone also immediately starts to heal itself. If the bone is not set properly the bone will fuse improperly or the dog can have internal bleeding. No matter what at the very least it is suffering. I realize your sister thinks she is helping but, in reality she is not. Get the dog to professional help somehow. The SPCA is your best option at this time.

not taking that dog to the vet is cruel and neglectful. tell ur dad he is a heartless @$$. if u dont take that dog to the vet then it will be in pain for a long time. no owner may ever come forward. especially since u probably havent put up flyers for a found dog. if u want to locate the owner u have to take some action

Why has no one cared more about this dog-- instead of yourselves and your costs-- and taken it to the vet? How dare you let an animal suffer and engander its life because you don't want to pay a vet bill for this poor animal. I sure hope you take care of kids better.
Take the dog to a vet NOW because it may die if you neglect it any longer. If you tell the vet it is a stray than you are often not responsible for the costs. At least take it to a shelter, or find someone that cares enough to take care of this poor animal. I'm glad your sister is kind enough to take care of is, that's very good of her, but it needs professional help.

Maybe the owner's looking for the dog at the shelter. Take it there and they will take care of the medical aspect of it. The poor thing is in pain and not taking it to the vet is not right. If your dad is not willing to pay to take care of it, then your sister should not have taken it in in the first place. Your family is placing the dog's life in more danger the longer you do not take it to the vet.

You have to take that poor dog to the vets NOW!!
you may think your doing it a favour looking after it but your making it alot worse!
if you just took him into a shelter when you found him he wouldnt be in all this pain right now!!!
his owners are probably looking for him right now and worried sick..and you have been keeping him all this time..how would you like that?!
and as for not taking him to the vets coz you dont want to pay?!..thats VERY VERY CRUEL!!
hes in pain cant you tell? just take the poor dog to the vets or to a shelter and they will look after him!

This is jus abuse sorry but your sister isnt looking after the dog it needs to get to the vet rite away no matter about the cost the vets will help you out and when the owners come to get it if they are good owners they will offer to pay it bck to you.

take it to the vet. if the limb turns gangrenous, it could kill the dog. take it to the vet, and sign the rights over to the vet. the vet will amputate, and find a good home for the dog. poor thing.
