A while back, someone posted a question asking what everyone thought about the Book of Mormon. I said there was no proof ever found that it ever existed. (Which there hasn't been.) Not long after, I started getting messages from a Mormon complaining about my answer. When I wouldn't change my opinion, he/she(?) wouldn't let it go. I wouldn't mind, but being a Christian I don't like it when someone compares Joseph Smith to Jesus Christ. (I know, non-Christians, you don't see the difference.) I don't want to not be able to get messages, everyone else who has messaged me has been nice. And it's hard to tell who the message is from until I click on it. Any advice?

Please, Mormons, no lecture about the Book of Mormon. I'm a Baptist.

I would suggest toning down the ego a bit. Your religion is yours and his is his. The beauty is that you both believe in a power bigger than yourselves, so you both have no need to prove it to each other. You are brothers and sisters in the eyes of God. If he attacks you, follow Jesus' example: thank him for his thoughts, let him know that you simply disagree, but that you are happy he has a strong conviction... and that it's something you can understand.

Do you honestly believe God would like seeing two humans trying to prove their righteousness over the other? Common Babe, we're brothers and sisters. Let's be stoked about that, let's not try to be right... that's just cheap.

If he can't appreciate that. He may have mental or emotional issues that you cannot help him with and you can simply block him electronically... Yahoo! Answers offers this option.

Good luck!

I am LDS. I was once born LDS, so there is not a lot of a tale there. But the final 2 to 3 years I have long gone via plenty, each well and dangerous, and via all of it I have had many non secular studies that have reinforced my testimony. I talked plenty with my bishop to support me manage matters, and he gave me a few very well recommendation, however on the time it was once approximately the toughest factor he might he might have prompt, and it wasn't essentially the most seen proposal both, but as I acted on it I felt it was once proper, it was once made less complicated to do and watching again, matters have became out flawlessly. I have additionally had a couple of potent studies with the Holy Ghost bearing witness of the Book of Mormon, and I have felt this type of near courting with the Savior as I have depended on Him for aid such a lot. This final summer season, I sat via the missionary discussions with a pal, and it was once potent how robust the spirit was once as they could educate. I could additionally whole the matters that she was once doing (like praying approximately the Book of Mormon and studying distinctive passages) and those possibilities once more reinforced my testimony. I don't have any doubt of the truthfulness of the restored gospel, and I am so excited to be capable to move out and educate others approximately it. I am getting my venture name this Wednesday!!

If they were comparing Joseph Smith to Jesus Christ, then they don't understand their religion.

Ignore it.
I was stalked by a Satanist through the R&S, so I get the feeling you're coming from.
Really.
The best you can do is mark it as spam, and ignore it. They'll quit eventually, as tedious as the process sounds.

Nah, but I've heard of their drinking and how they like to go out dancing. They bounce off the walls after a cup of coffee. I was impressed by the waffles.

Fine, you will never hear from me again.

But, you know, it takes two to argue. You don't HAVE to answer any of my emails, if you don't like what I say. In fact, I've thrown out several of the ones you have sent me.

I don't harass anyone. If you had never answered my first email to you, you would have never heard from me again.
