If he really were god, I guess I wouldn't have anything to say. I'd stand in awe.

As your god supposedly gave me a brain I would expect that it would want me to use it. My study combined with logic shows me that there are no gods. If I am wrong, I don't expect the gods to punish me for using the talents they gave me. I treat my fellow humans fairly and honestly - which is more than I can say for most of the loud-mouthed god-fearing fundie Christians I see around here.

Why would I have to say anything? He's supposedly omniscient, and I wouldn't be particularly emotional in either direction at the revelation, so wouldn't feel a particular need to speak to him. Nor would I really care to speak in someone if they really would make suffer through Gandhi through eternal pain because he happened not to land in the right corner of the world from which to help people.

I'd say "sorry god but I really didn't think you existed." But I don't ridicule people who believe in god. I don't think I've ever said anything about theists being dumb or christianity or any other religion being dumb or stupid or crazy or anything like that. I just don't sit back and take it when they try to shove all their beliefs down my throat.

If I ever stand before a deity (any deity) I will simply say "I honestly didn't believe you existed, on to the penalty phase."
What else is there to say? I have always been quite willing to pay the penalties when I am wrong, why would that change?

I would ask him to prove that he is god. I have had men approach me claiming to be god, but it just turned out they were insane.

"why didn't you give me a real reason to believe in you! instead of all this stupid religious nonsense?"
all I wanted was either
1 - a rational argument, or
2 - positive evidence
that you existed! call yourself omnipotent - and you couldn't even give me that? shame on you.

Do you really believe all that is in your book or was it predominately influenced by those who interpreted it.
