Well if you 2 are really good friends just say "hi" Bud. I would be afraid if you said "hi" jack, someone may get the wrong idea. You could always say "hay or hi there" Jack.

Hopefully Jack realizes that he is your friend and he will say "hi" back to you. Then the two of you can sit and have a good conversation and solve all of the worlds problems.

You get tackled by the air marshalls and cuffed to your seat till the plane lands then hauled off for questioning till you explain you were being a jackass and won't ever do that again. Seriously, in this day and age, this question is really stupid and not funny in the slightest.
