me and this girl have been dating for 3 years, and a few times we stop talking because we got upset at each other, but finally she accepted being my girlfriend, now i know she doesnt love me as much as i love her. my question is, once you are bf and gf, is it ok to show more affection, cause i always hear that men should hold of and not smother a girl with affection, but i want to cause i'm in love with her, but if that is bad strategy or will scare her away i dont want to do that, any advice on this, and if this is not the way to go, what can i do?

well ask her if she would get scared if u said u loved her just bring it up in conversation wen use are lying down together and having a moment and if she says she wont get scared then wait a week or 2 then just say it i did the exact same thing 2 my bf and we say it like everyday :)

one u can not make a person fall in love with you. unless u have some type of magic spell or something. but how i feel is that after three years if she doesn't love u back thats her thing and u can't make some one love you more than they already do. to your knowledge she might love u more than u think. i believe u just need to slow down and give her some time and really look into your relatisonship. and as far as that male thing where u shouldn't show 2 much affection there's nothin wrong with showin someone how much u love and care about them.

If you want her to love you more you have to go on successful dates with her, and dont tell her you love her until you guys have at least three good dates and you get your first kiss with her after the first good date. Trust me, if she thinks that you are tottally in love with her and she just wants a casual thing she will break up with you quick.

By being more affectionate you're showing her how much you truly love her. You're putting your actions into words. Buy her cards every now and then, "just because". Hold her hand, whisper sweet nothings in her ear, and be romantic!! Candle light dinners, late night swims, that kind of thing.

well personally i love it when my bf shows me affection, it shows me that he cares bout me, so just show her affection but take it slow.....and if you love her then tell her you never no she might feel the same way bout you.....so good luck i hope everything works out for you.

must be nice to want to be able to 'smother' your girl with love. depends on the girl, but if she loves you...she'll love the affection. Affection! not insecurity or jealousy. remember that and your affections will be welcome and wanted.

well just dont go over the top, i mean hugging is fine and so is kissing but idk....i mean i like it when a guy smothers me and makes me feel good about myself...i loove hugging now...i mean idk the hugs just feel right sometimes....and i find it rather flattering to know that a guy really loves me...i mean i didtn' think it was possible to feel loved because the way i act all abnoxious at times...but idk it feels good i think you shoudl do all you can to show her you love her

say cute things to her..all girls love that. Also, wrap your arm around her often and tell her how much u love her...she will hopefully say the same thing back.
