Could it have something to do with the human condition?

First of all, not to come off as one of the people I think you are trying to talk about...but, that question is all over the place. Three words, "Run on Sentence".

Next, when you talk about faith, it's less about arrogance and more about the strength of the belief. You asked a very opened ended question without trying to ridicule anyone. That's cool. But, others are not that way. They would rather use their faith or lack there of to cause anger, division, and intolerance. It's as bad as racism or any other bigotry. Why can't we all just get to a place where we realize that we each have inside of us a place or a faith that makes us happy, comfortable, and secure.

If that is not where you are in your life, maybe it's time to read some of the arrogance.

As a christian, I would tell you to start with "Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. I think you would find it interesting.

I guess this is why you are on here with your question. Showing your ignorance and arrogance at the same time. This is like having fear of being less than the next person that they make themself look stupid to try to be better/smarter.

This forum offers an relatively anonymous way to validate your own opinions no matter how ignorant and asinine they may be. These people can say whatever they want and not suffer consequences. People no longer listen to others, they just wait their turn to speak or just cut you off mid-sentence. Humility is a lost virtue.

I really just try to say what I feel. whether it sounds ignorant/arrogant or not is up to the reader. I'm never trying to put anyone down. I don't think many people have the intention to do so. they speak their mind, and people interpret what they say.

There are two powers in this world--good and evil. Both have members. Both are at war. Thus you have ignorant and arrogant point of views.

Arrogant, at times. Ignorant, of many things speaking for myself. Try not to post information that I am not very clear on.

Possibly they don't know they are ignorant. However, that is subjective - your assessment of ignorant could be someone providing proven and easily researchable facts, yet they are ignorant to you because they don't understand your take on the issue.

There are arrogant people in all groups, thanks very much...but I do agree if you're gonna say something, know what you're talking about--have something behind you--don't give a bad name to what you're defending.
