I see what you are trying to do, but I am going to take you a different route. Jesus is "just a name". Just as there are many Hispanics named "Jesus", there is nothing unique about someone having that name. The meaning of the name is significant. Yehoshua means "Yaweh is salvation". If I am not mistaken here are some equivalents: Jesus = Jason = Yeshua = Yehoshua = Joshua. As you adroitly pointed out, the word Jehovah is, for lack of a better term, a typo. Similarly, the name "Jesus", though a Greek form of the Hebrew "Yeshua", had gone through some changes from the original Greek, too. So while you do not have the exact original spelling and the two names and they are in different languages, what you do have is a Greek derivative that means "'I am that I am' is salvation".
Given the fact that that God gives himself many different names in the Old Testament, it is immediately clear that the name or the derivation of that name is not immediately a significant factor in salvation. Rather, it is that you are referring to the correct being baring that name. Don't for get Jesus said that there will be many that would call themselves Christ (English "the Annointed", Hebrew "Messiah" - rather "Mashiach"). So the correct individual with the name is who you are looking for.
Finding the correct individual is the key. While Jesus did say that He was the "way, the truth, and the life" and that only He was the way to the "Father", it has to be proven that He is indeed Yahwey of the Old Testament. However, Jesus need not to even state that He is the "only way". God in the OT makes it quite clear that there are no other gods but He. As well, He is the one who brings salvation. So if Jesus is God of the OT then the OT declarations apply to Him.
The verses that you reference in your question are Acts 4:10-12, particularly v12: "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." While I cannot delve into the nuances of Greek or Hebrew (because I do not know them), it is very clear in v.10 that we are dealing with a specific being and that being has a specific name. If that being is actually the God of the OT, then the statement in v12 is absolutely congruent with the statements in the OT.
I hope that is helpful. However, given your familiarity with the subject, I suspect that you have sufficient skills and resources to accurately answer your own question.
Regards, Timo

If you understood languages just a little, you might begin to understand that a name, spelled differently in a different language, and even pronounced differently, can still be the same name.
Paul, Paulo, Pablo -- same name, different languages.
YHWH ... lets look at it. The Jews did have vowels; they were simply not written down. They were pronounced though by an educated reader.
The letters J and Y were used for the same sound. Some languages still pronounce the J as a Y. The letter W is actually a double-V, and was pronounced as a V. Some languages still pronounce the W as a V. Therefore, YHWH and JHVH are phonetically equivalent. They are the SAME NAME.
The name Jesus is the modern equivalent of what was known in the Bible as Y'shuah (spelling may be off as I'm tired and didn't bother to look it up). In any case, we have again the use of a J and a Y, bringing the names immediately closer to reconciliation. In many places, Jesu is still pronounced Yesu. It is not a change in names, but a change in language that is taking place.
As soon as one travels to a different part of the world, their name shall be pronounced, most likely, differently. Does that mean that the people speaking the different language, for some reason, do not know to whom they are speaking?

If men edited out the name of God, "YHWH" when they copied the New Testament, as only the Watchtower organization claims, then how can we have any confidence in any of the New Testament?
Should we discard the New Testament or the Watchtower organization as unreliable?
It is impossible to remove YHWH from the Old Testament, because it is found in every original Hebrew Manuscript. (However, YHWH is Never found in any manuscript of the New Testament.)
In the Scriptures, the name of God is most significant and understandably so. It is inconceivable to think of spiritual matters without a proper designation for the Supreme Deity. Thus the most common name for the deity is God, a translation of the original Elohim. One of the titles for God is Lord, a translation of Adonai. There is yet another name for which is particularly assigned to God as His special or proper name, that is, the four letters YHWH (Exodus 3:14 and Isaiah 42:8). This name has Not been pronounced by the Jews because of reverence for the great sacredness of the divine name. Therefore, it has been consistently translated Lord. The only exception to this translation of YHWH is when it occurs in immediate proximity to the word Lord, that is, Adonai. In that case it is regularly translated God in order to avoid confusion. It is known that for many years YHWH has been transliterated as Yahweh, however No complete certainty attaches to this pronunciation.

Instead of arguing so hard against the Bible, why not try believing the truth? It is so much easier. Acts 4:10-12
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

I hate to agree so easily but you are right. None of those is God's name. It is forbidden to say God's name except one day a year. His name has 72 syllables and no one has heard it or spoken it since Israel was destroyed in 70AD.
Now it has been forgotten even by the Jews.
Just think of God as Father and you will be OK.
I don't do links from here anymore so may have missed something but I doubt it.

Act 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

When the bible was translated, the name "Jesus" was chosen to Latinize the name. Hispanics use the name, pronouced differently than the English pronunciation. But, that is not the important part. Christ is the part that means something. Christ was the term for savior, deliverer...it wasn't his last name. Joseph's last name wasn't Christ. He was Jesus and after he returned from the desert, became Christ. Although the gospels, at his birth refer to him as the Christ child, I believe it's to maintain the "virgin birth", predesdend life of the child.

Greetings,
Jesus is God himself - Deity of Christ
As we turn the pages of the Bible we are convinced undoubtedly with the deity of Christ. He is the God who came in the form of a man as son of Mary, in the reign of Augusts Caesar the Roman Emperor. Thus, the Bible speaks about it.
1.
God appeared in a body. - 1Tim.3:16 / Jn.1:18
2.
He is the God over all. - Rom.9:5
3.
He is the creator of all things. - Col.1:16 & 17
4.
In Him the fullness of the deity lives in bodily form. - Col.2:9
5.
He is the exact representation of God's being. - Heb.1:3
6.
He is the true God and Eternal Life. - 1.Jn.5:20
7.
He is our great God and Saviour. - Titus.2:13
8.
He is the Alpha and Omega. - Rev.1:17 / Rev22:13
9.
Father God calls him God. - Heb.1:8
10.
He is worthy of all worship, power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and praise. - Rev.5:12-14
11.
The Word which was God became flesh. - Jn.1:1 &14
12.
He is Immanuel - God with us. - Mat.1:23
13.
He is Jehovah. - Jn.8:24
14.
He sits on the throne of God. Rev.3:21
15.
He is the Sovereign Lord. - 2Pet.2.1 / Jude.4
16.
He has the authority of forgive sins. - Mk.2:5 & 10
17.
Jesus is seen by prophet Isaiah in the throne of God. Jn12:41
18.
Jesus is seen by Daniel as God. - Daniel.7:13 & 14
19.
He is the Ancient of Days. - Micah. 5:2 / Mat.2:4-6
20.
He is the Holy One. - Rev. 3:7 / Isa.43:14
21.
He is Mighty God, Everlasting Father. - Isa.9:6
Jesus is our Saviour
"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." - Mat.1:21
Every human being needs a saviour and God offers only Jesus for the remission of sins and for eternal life (Jn.3:16). Jesus took the sins of the whole world on His body to satisfy the justice of God, lavish the love of God and made himself a sacrifice of atonement by shedding His Blood, which contains eternal life on the cross. God made Him (Jesus) who new no sin to be sin for us so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God (2Cor.5:21). Thus, through His sacrificial death and resurrection, salvation and eternal life is available freely to all who believe and acknowledge this truth (Rom.10:9 / Eph.2:8).
He is the Lord & Messiah (Christ)
"Today in the town of David a saviour has been born to you; He is Messiah the Lord." - Lk.2:11
The word Messiah means the Anointed one. His office is to preach the gospel, to comfort the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, to release the prisoners from darkness, to proclaim to those who mourn that the year of the Lord's favour has come and with it, the day of God's anger against their enemies. He will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair to all who mourn (Isa.61:1-4). The Israelites awaited the arrival of the Messiah, their Saviour from heaven (Jn.4:25). This has been fulfilled through Jesus (Lk.4:21). This Messiah is Jesus (Jn4:26).
He is the Judge
"For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son..." - Jn.5:22
A day will come when all mankind has to stand before the judgment seat of God. God the father has appointed Jesus as the judge of all and given Him all authority to judge (Acts,17:31). The is no condemnation for those who believe only in Him and and live on His word (Rom.8:1). Every act of man will be judged by God's impartial justice which is revealed in the scripture(1 Pet.1:17).
Are you ready? The Judge is coming!
