I'm looking to rent Navy CPO swords for a wedding. Does anyone know where I can find them for rent in San Diego? I tried the military base MWR, but they say they don't have any.

Not for sure, but you can go to http://www.swordforum.com and ask. Someone there is bound to know.

Enlisted don't have swords. It is a cutlass instead.

One: only Officers have the Sword Arch, enlisted do Not. While
not specifically prohibited, it is traditional that only Officers have the Arch.

Two: Finding eight Chief's with cutlasses, even in San Dawg, willing to lend them to you is going to be difficult. It is not a required part of the uniform and very very VERY few people are willing to spend $350 on something they may need once in their entire 20 plus career.

Three: try the Chief's Club, but again, your chances are slim.

there is no sword for Navy CPO's swords are only used with Officer uniforms for the Navy. This issue was brought up with the previous MCPON he supported it, but the new MCPON doesn't so it's a dead issue. If you are looking for what might have been a sword for the CPO you would be looking for a cutlass type sword.
