some people actually told me that since im 16, i can get my license in 6 months...is that true?? I got my permit June 22nd, and turned 16 in August 23rd...wht do u guys think??

i didn't really beleive them...but i have to make sure...

Depends on your States rules. In your searchbar, type your State and DMV. Scroll to drivers license and check what your rules are.

Most states require you to hold the permit at least 6 months, or until you turn 18, not 16, before taking the test to get a license. Open the page for the DMV in your state and search the frequently asked questions, it's probably there.

It depends on the state your in. If you just got your permit, I'm guessing you have the driving manual nearby. Take a look through that. I know in PA, if you were a minor, you did need to wait 6 months before you could take your road test for your license.
