Ok, I posted a question about where to find any Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran memorabilia for my husbands birthday who is veteran of this war and is still military. I just wanted to know what fellow supporters thought of this sad response to my question, it's from ndgbill
TYPICAL AMERICAN OBLIVIOUS TO THE SUFFERING OF OTHERS THAT THE US ITSELF HAS CAUSED.
GOD BLESS THE OVER 400,000 INNOCENT IRAQI CIVILIANS THAT HAVE BEEN SLAUGHTERED AS A RESULT OF THE US WAR ATROCITY IN IRAQ ESPECIALLY THAT IRAQI WOMAN CAUGHT ON CAMERA SWEEPING UP THE BODY PARTS OF HER 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FOR BURIAL.
THESE 400,000 INNOCENT CHILDREN OF GOD WOULD BE ALIVE TODAY IF THE US HAD NOT CHOSEN TO PERSUE IT'S LIE BASED ILLEGAL WAR.
I realize to people like you these people are not even human but only COLATERAL DAMAGE AS THE US MILITARY AND THE US GOVERNMENT REFER TO THEM,but to the rest of us THEY ARE HUMAN AND THEIR SLAUGHTER DEMANDS RECOGNITION !!!
AND YOU LOT CALL YOURSELVES CHRISTIANS .

What I have to say is not at all nice, but I will keep it brief. Your husband as well as I and many of our friends/fellow comrads know we didn't kill nearly that many people in all the countries we've been in. Have they died? Yes, but mostly because of suicide car bombs, random gunfire from their own people ect. So to blame it on us is usual, the troops do no right to some and no wrong to others. Do we have those that are bad apples, yes, but most of us who have been there know better. Don't fret it, I've been called things I can't repeat here and will continue to serve my country, as well as that of other countries, even though they hate us...but if I remember correctly we're not the only countries in Iraq or Afghanistan...Again, sorry you had to go through that...

The anti-victory crowd likes to make up facts. They know 400,000 Iraqi civilians haven't died since the liberation. They also know that of the approximately 80,000 that have died, not all of them died as a result of Coalition Forces' presence here.
And those people very well might not be alive if Hussein was in power. These chuckleheads also like to forget that he killed 184,000 Kurds in one day. For being Kurdish.

As a real veteran, i detect B as worth of extra complaint. every person with a psychological condition can fake to be a conflict hero, even even though it takes somebody with a slimy time table and judgment of right and incorrect to tug off a faux interview. self sufficient. on the top of the day we are only individuals. certainly, that's demanding that any American might talk poorly of their usa, even even though it style of feels to be the vast majority of media immediately. i won't be able to even watch the on a daily basis coach anymore with out some anti-bush anti-conflict time table being thrown in my face. that's no longer a marvel in any respect coming from the liberal media.

Liz,
I understand your point, but the poor fellow has a point to, even if the facts are a bit skewed.
Let's say some superpower (I know it wouldn't happen in today's political landscape but bear with me people) cam into the US and removed the President and congress from power.
Would the citizenry fight back.... you bet.
Would gangs and thugs seize the opportunity to run rampant in our streets... you bet.
Would people die... you bet.
Would we blame the invaders...
g-day!

He and Carm Soprano, Meadow, Signa Soprano and whatever her name will be tomorrow should run off a cliff together. Don't listen to these people, they are just trying to get you worked up. Our men and women are doing a great job over there, but some are too ignorant to see. Be strong and proud! They are the reason why stupid should be painful.

Sadly this is no new response and this is why our troops are not supported. Thankfully i have a family and friends who love me and i can listen to them instead of these dumb asses. Knowing what I am doing is helping people also helps me ignore people like this.
