I have a cavity between two of my front teeth and i was wondering what the dentist is going to do? does it have to be pulled or can it be fixed? if it can be fixed how do they do so?

It depends on how bad the decay is. The worse it is, the harder it is to fix. They can five it by drilling out the cavity, then filling it with a (tooth colored) composite filling.

If the cavity has not gone into the nerve than by all means the tooth/teeth can be restored with a composite resin once all the decay is removed. If the decay goes into the nerve you have two options...root canal or extraction. If there is not a lot of tooth structure once the decay is removed your dentist may also recommend a crown(s)

NORMALLY, A CAVITY IS REPAIRED RATHER THAN THE TOOTH PULLED.
TOOTH EXTRACTION IS THE LAST RESORT WHEN A TOOTH IS BEYOND REPAIR
