I'm a girl 5'2 130lbs. What aerobic workout dvd is good for getting a skinny and lean model-type body shape? any recommendations?

Look for videos by a company called, "The Firm." The combine aerobics with weights and they're great. They'll give you a body like a swimmer: firm, muscular, but feminine.

First of all...

We're all built differently, and our muscles and fat stores are distributed differently, depending on race, height, age, etc. Most models are 5'8" to 6' tall, and their muscles are naturally longer and leaner than a girl of average height. Though you can lose weight and get some great muscle tone, your muscles are on a smaller frame. The look can be a very gorgeous thing... but please don't try to compare yourself to a model. I'm a 6' tall woman and work out all the time, but my body is naturally muscular. I think it's beautiful... but I'd never make it as a model. That's not how I'm built.

Aside from that, get yourself on a good, lean diet to lose any unwanted body fat. Try out a good yoga DVD.. those use your muscles to support your body and get a nice, lean tone. Pilates is another awesome one. These work the entire body, unlike some DVDs that just focus on abs, buns, etc.
