No there is not.

As others have pointed out, cancer is not one illness but very many different ones, and there will never be a single cure-all.

And why would someone hide the fact that they had found a cure, when it would bring them fame and fortune?

And where are the THOUSANDS of people who must have been cured in the tests which proved this miracle cure was effective? Why has not one of them spoken up?

And when medical workers, researchers and scientists and their families die from cancer at the same rate as the rest of the population, why would they conspire to hide a cure?

There have been many advances in the treatment of cancer, and some cancers are curable, thanks to dedicated hard work by the very people this theory suggests are allowing people to die from cancer while they conceal a cure.

I can do no better than suggest that you read these articles:

*****EDIT: In response to Jason's post below - there is not a scrap of evidence that apricot seeds (brand name Laetrile, aka B-17, a non-existent vitamin invented to lend credibility to this product) are in any way effective against cancer; in addition they are dangerous as they contain cyanide. Jason Vale is a charlatan and a convicted fraud. More links:

No, I don't think that there is some big secret or conspiracy about the cure for cancer. In addition to the ethical and moral side of not providing humanity with this revelation, there is also economical impacts you would have to consider as well.

For an example, if a person finds a way to synthesize a compound that can completely cure cancer without having too great of a side effect, that person can stand to possibly make billions off of the sale of that drug. This would far outstripe the revenue being made for current treatments of cancer that tackle individual symptoms. If you had your hands on this knowledge would you just sit tight and stay mum about it? I think not, it's not human nature.

No! people have to get past the idea that cancer is one disease it isn't. That is why each type of cancer is treated differently.
Breast Cancer is one of the most complexes of all the cancers. Three women can have invasive BC stage 2 grade 2 but different kind of BC. Her2 another ER+ or another ER- and Her2-. Each are treated differently.
Only secret if you call it a secret is a number of cancer drugs they give to dogs can be used on humans with the same type of cancer.

No. And I doubt there can ever be a single cure-all for cancer. If you study about cancer, you will find out that there are many different types of cancers and they each respond differently to various treatments. They also grow differently and spread differently.

You go, Panda! (You should run for office!)

Think about it, Phoenix, if there WAS, then none of the people who would have to be involved in such a conspiracy (doctors, nurses, hospital management, etc.) would "keep it secret from themselves", so you would surely see MUCH lower cancer rates in those groups of people than in the general population....but you don't!

So there is no "secret cure"...

Read the book by Kevin Treadau it will make you think twice. Do the major drug companies know the cure for cancer but don't want anyone to know because of their profit margins? Because it would put a lot of high paying job holders out of a job?

His book really gives you food for thought!

No. There is no secret 'cure' for cancer. Nor is there a secret 'cure' for the common cold. People who do not deal with advanced cancer and know patients with cancer tend to believe in conspiracy theories. It's a little fun political discussion for them, because they are not dealing directly with life and death issues. Most comments about a 'secret cure' are ill informed and never based in known fact.

Those of us involved in a daily battle with an advanced cancer have met the doctors and research clinicians who are searching for better treatment. Most of them network with each other and if even one of them thought there was some type of 'secret cure' . . ethically they would be outraged and expose the entire conspiracy. They would never stay quiet and watch their young patients suffer and die.

A secret like this would also be impossible to keep quiet. It would have needed to be tested on over 200 different types of cancer to see if it worked on all of them or just some of them. It would have needed to be tested on all stages of cancer to see its affect on stage I, stage II, stage III, and stage IV. It would have needed to be tested on infants, children, teens, young adults, and older adults to see if it 'cured' them. If it hasn't been tested . .than how do they know if is a 'cure'?

In order to believe in a 'secret' cure you would need to suspend common sense.

From what I've witnessed for doctors and clinical researchers . . they want a cure too. Doctors and researchers and their families are not immune to cancer and they die from it too.

no - i don't think that for one minute..
If there was a cure for cancer - any of them - that person could really not only have gratitude of many many people - BUT probably a noble prize as well..

I know if i found a cure for cancer - I wouldn't be keeping it secret..

i suppose someone might hide it so patients would continue to spend money on treatments, or for some other similar reason, but i really doubt it.

if there was a cure, i don't think anyone would hide it. maybe i'm being naive, but i think people are generally better than that.

No, the apricot seeds are no longer a secret. It's just that they are not marketed positively and strongly enough to infringe too much on the already well established cancer industry. And as long as there are more people making a living from the industry than dieing from the cancer it will remain status quo. Get with the program.

Jason Vale was imprisoned for knowing the....dirty four letter word...Truth. As long as Americans keep consenting to the lies everything will be alright...well, until the next planned attack on civilization according to the Population Reduction Globilization Plan takes...when it takes effect...which could be anytime soon... let's just party like we know it's over! Ok?
