Ages - depending on how quickly you consume it.
It will keep longer in the fridge in hot climates, as it will help keep the oil from going rancid.

Peanut butter should not be refridgerated. It hardens up in the fridge, making it difficult to spread. NOWHERE on any jar of peanut butter does it say Refridgerate after opening. Remember to put the lid back on & close it tightly. Not too tightly or you won't be able to open it again easily. It has a shelf life until the date on the container. Store the container in your pantry or other cupboard.
Jelly needs refridgeration to keep it from souring after opening. If left out longer than 30 minutes, toss the container into the trash. Jelly can make you just as sick as any other rancid food left out. Store the jelly in the middle part or other shelf of the fridge. The door isn't as cold & it will spoil faster.

jelly/jam needs to be refrigerated, and i'd keep it for up 6 months about.
all-natural peanut butter needs to be refrigerated, but the regular kind can just stay in the cupboard and i'd say keep the all-natural for up to 6 months, and the regular for like 8 months.
but honestly, who takes THAT long to eat peanut butter? it's SOO good.

Interesting question...... I am sure the government would give you a hefty grant to research it. You could make like 10,000 sandwiches and leave them out and eat one a day until you and the other test participants got sick.
