About 3 days ago i decided to buy her different food, the wet kind in the little packages, well she didn't like it, she licked a little but left pretty much all of it there. Later that day I went out and that night got home and her meowing sounded hoarse :/ and she has done this thing where it looks like she is throwing up but makes no sound, she's done this only twice. But she's acting normal other than that, she runs around and plays. Is it a hairball? I started giving her Petromalt today so i'm hoping this will help in case it is a hairball. Please help, i'm really worried :/

Ok, well her meowing isn't really hoarse it's more of a deeper meow and sometimes she'll start to sound a little normal, just a little softer than normal. It kinda sounds like she has phleghm.

Hard to say.

She needs to be checked. In the meantime, get her some of her old food if she is not eating her new food. She needs her energy.

Keep tabs on her. If she isn't playing or doesn't seem to be herself, she needs to see a vet immediately. This often indicates something serious that is a threat to her life.

She's probably scared interior the unusual new place. in case you may have the money for vet look after the two, it can be a solid theory to get yet another kitten. youthful kittens want the interaction with different kittens and that they do o.k. in pairs. attempt conserving her in a small section for some days so she isn't so overwhelmed by ability of each and every thing. you get carry of her slightly too early. that's extra useful to get kittens at 10-12 weeks previous so they have sufficient time with their mothers and littermates. it quite is many times the reason some kittens are timid, cry alot, or are aggressive approximately biting and scratching.

Well, Im not sure what is wrong with her. But it's possible she has a sore throat. I would take her to the vet as soon as possible. Maybe if she has some type of infection, they can take blood and find out what is wrong....Or maybe she is dehydrated and thats why her voice sounds weak. Good luck to you:-))

It could be a sore throat, respiratory infection,or virus. Is she vaccinated? If not,it could be either feline rhinotracheitis or calicivirus.I'd watch, and if she's no better,or gets worse by Monday, then you'd best take her to the vet.
