I want to lose about 70 lbs. I am following a diet a doctor gave me(just balance nutrition) and working out at the gym(taking classes,use equiptment too). Would losing 10 lbs per month be healthy? that'd mean I'd lose 70 lbs in 7 months. I do seem to lose 2-3 lbs when I lose weight the right way.

I figure 4 weeks per month, 2 lbs per week = 8 lbs, 3 lbs per week would = 12 lbs per month, so in the middle would = 10, a nice round number. so then 70lbs in 7 months( maybe longer if it gets harder in the end). I figure sometime between April in May, no later than June. (which is great because of the weather).

Very possible as long as you stick to your routines. You might even loose 15 in the first month but as you loose weight it will be harder to lose more. Just don't get discouraged. You can do it if you stick to it!

* Exercise everyday for 30 minutes at least

Losing 2-3 pounds per week IS a safe way to lose weight and the best way to lose it and keep it off! Losing 70lbs in 10 months is wonderful and good luck to you in such an accomplishment! The weight came on over time and will drop over time, too.

Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

i haven't heard of anyone who lost 10 pounds per month .although i have read about lots of people who lost more than 70 pounds. but not in just 7 months. if you managed to do it please post what you did so i can try too. ^-^
