I mean we start to kiss and he stands on one of us and starts licking our face, or rather tries to. Is that weird???

Not wierd - normal. To the dog, his owner is his possession and you are taking away the attention. To manage the problem, put him in a crate or another room. To end the problem, be extra nice to him and in time he will see both of you as his "toys". After that, take him to another room after he tries it for a few minutes and repeat EVERY time. In time, he'll understand that he loses both his toys if he interferes and it will stop.

Dogs have a different way of interpreting things. They are pack animals. Her dog considers your GF part of his pack and he wants to be involved. The next time you go to hug your GF, when he jumps in you should turn your backs towards him. Keep doing this until he stops jumping. Do this for awhile, and when you see that he stops jumping on you guys you should praise him. It shouldn't take too long before he gets it.

thats exactly what my dag did when i kissed my ex, and i took him to the vet and he said my dog was jealous!!! so now i make sure to give him lots of attention before my guy comes over, and it usually works and we dont have a dog jumping and licking everywhere.

This happens when I try to hug anyone, my dog will get right between us. I think your dog thinks that you're girlfriend is trying to hurt you, or you are trying to hurt her. Or maybe you're dog is jealous of your girlfriend.
