I want to lose about 10 lbs per month. I want to lose about 70 lbs. I'm 5'2 and will be 25 on Thursday, female small/medium build.
I will be working out at the gym 5 days per week for at least an hour of cardio and of weight training.
I will also be following a healthy natural balanced diet.

I think you should start with smaller goals. If you aim so high right now, you could burn yourself out before you get anywhere and give up altogether. Start with something like 3lbs for the first week and exercising at least 30 min 5 days a week. (I personally wouldn't even start quite that high) and readjust your goals every week as you see how well you are doing on sticking to it.

Good luck!

Try to aim for 5 lbs a month so you don't get disappointed. 10 years ago it took me 6 months to lose 35 pounds. However, I looked amazing cause I did it the right way and it made my entire body toned! I worked out 7 days a week, two hours a day, drank a gallon of water a day and ate less than 1000 calories a day and it still took me 6 months to go from 170 to 135.

Good luck!

Also, you can never stop exercising or eating right or it all comes back on and then some!

You should really lose weight slowly to do it the right way. A realistic goal is about a pound and a half per week..or 6 pounds monthly. Keep in mind you didn't put on all that weight in 7 months, so it will take awhile to get it off.
Good luck, and happy training!
