They worship a God that will torture people endlessly if you do not subscribe to this cult-religion
they worship a version of God that used BLOOD to forgive our sins.
They worship a version of God that used INCEST to popluate the earth.

It has that history, which Christians will hasten to tell you that they don't believe in or follow, and that the OT stuff expired or something when the NT came on the scene.
Of course it is all a bloody nightmare. And Christianity was a cult when it started out. Now they think that we pagans are the cultists.. Ah, the terrible changes that a couple thousand years have wrought!

What you don't realize is, it is God who made incest off limits AFTER HE jump-started the population of the Earth. If He didn't make it off limits there would be No problems at all with it or the offspring from it.
The Blood is symbolic of life and God knows that it is the most powerful symbol of life. Since He is the author of life He used this symbol to Highlight our need for a Savior. Blood cults have no idea why they are doing what they do and they have no REAL power.

It's all about you having free will to choose between
(1) the love and mercy of the one true God, and salvation of your eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus
...or...
(2) rejecting God
The consequences of that choice is clearly defined in the covenant of the New Testament.
Oh, and your free will includes your ability to say and do whatever you want. No matter how sick, perverted and offensive.

Go get a dictionary, look up the word "cult". Christianity, as one of the largest recognized religions in the world, simply does not fit the definition.
As for the rest of your....interesting....question, you could seriously use a little more balanced and unbiased view of Christianity to base your rants on.

I don't know how it isn't by their definition, but in my opinion it's because they were brainwashed (another way it is a cult) to believe it's not.

You're doing the exact same thing the fundies do. You're making broad and untrue statements about all believers. Many believers do not worship a God like you described. It just proves my theory that ignorance is abound on both sides.

Depends on who you talk to. There are those people who take Christ's teachings to heart and leave the rest as mythology. It doesn't matter WHO you pray to (Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, etc...) we are all praying to the same God. Different culters assign him/her different personalities to conform to who they are as a society during that moment in history. The god of the past (barbaric) does not have the same personality as the god of the NT.
