No the New York TImes is a newspaper.
They dare because it is a fundamental right of all Americans to say what they want. The truth will win out when people decide for themselves what to believe.
Would you have the govenrment say what they can and can't print?

Of course they are... and America is getting tired of it. Their susbscribership is falling every year and they constantly shoot themselves in the foot with garbage like this. Now, moveon.org is the one who created the add and purchased the add space. However, the NYT thought it would be nice to give them a little over $100,000.00 is discounts for the add and they also chose to run the add. They don't have to except everything someone wants to put in the paper. I worked at a print house growing up and a large order came in for a pornographic magazine. The owner turned down the business... It is called principles... something the liberal party and their news rag lack.

No, it is a newspaper. I believe the issue to which you speak revolves around an advertisement which you find objectionable. I am happy that we live in a society where advertisements such as this can offend the simple minded and insecure.
