Would you just give Jesus a chance?

Yea I love Jesus. I had 6 heart bypasses and had a near death experience. He was with me! I saw the whole surgery, packed in ice the whole nine yards! I asked my Doctor about what I saw, he told me I was right about what I saw. Therefore my faith in god is unshakable. I wanted to stay with him but here I am. No one cane shake my faith now. I wounder whats on the other side. I am no longer afraid of death anymore. Yes I love our Lord.

Why do you assume that atheists haven't given Jesus a chance? I have and it made no difference whatsoever; I didn't magically gain belief. Many atheists were religious at one time or another. They HAVE given Jesus a chance.

There once was a child who believed and gave Jesus a chance to save her. She learned that in life you protect yourself or die. God could care less if there were one.

Where in the Bible does God ever say, "Would you just give Jesus a chance?" It sounds like you're begging people to "Try Jesus" as though He is some needy, desperate person you just try out. Jesus is not someone you "try out." He is the Son of the Living God, worthy of honor and praise, to be respected, adored, and given all glory. He died a horrible death on a cross for the sole purpose of reconciling mankind back to God, no longer Gods enemy, but to have the privilege of becoming Children of God. He died for our sins, and took our punishment upon Himself. That's a hero! And unlike some here that are deceived claiming Jesus is dead, I believe He rose from the dead, and conquered death, hell, and the grave just as it is recorded in the Bible! Anyone who denies this has likely not studied scripture and other logical accounts and studies about this subject from honest seekers and doubters alike. I know He is alive, because His Holy Spirit lives in me and has drastically changed my life! I have my testimony of what Christ has done for me, in me, and through me that can look the world in the eye and say "HE IS ALIVE! HE CAME TO FIX MY BROKEN LIFE! And He did just that! No one can ever take that away from me. No one here knows me either, but can I tell you, Jesus Christ saved my life! He is not a fairy tale, wishful thinking, or false hope. He is the Creator of the Universe, someone I have gotten to know intimately and personally and loves me like no other....who literally rescued me from my own death! He healed my broken heart, set me free from spiritual and emotional captivity that every person on the face of the earth is in the same shoes but doesn't realize yet, but hopefully will. The only person who can rescue us is Jesus Christ but you have to say, yes, I am guilty as charged! I have no way of escaping Gods righteous judgment I so richly deserve! I have hurt myself, other people, and God. And you must be willing to stop doing things God says are wrong. God wants to give you a brand new heart and life and lead you. He is God, we are not! He deserves it and He has every right to demand this of us. Whether anyone believes this or not, will not change reality. God will judge this wicked world and the sad thing is He doesn't want anyone to be eternally separated from Him and be put in Hell. For those who don't believe in Hell, well just cause you don't believe it doesn't erase it's reality. The fact is, the souls of evil people are there right now as I write. God has to put them there, otherwise evil will continue for eternity and there is a deadline. God is gracious and merciful and not willing that any should perish but all come to the knowledge of the truth of Jesus Christ. God has plans folks, and His plans have been made known for centuries. Do not put God in a box or a time table. A day is as a thousand years as a thousand years a day to God! He is outside of time! It is man who has the time table. Think of the the planet, right now spinning on its axis....at just the right degree from the sun. A few degree's further from the sun and we would all freeze to death. A few degree's closer and we would all fry! God did that! The Universe declares His glory! Do not say there is no God! Only a fool would say in his heart there is no God when the Universe and all creation shows His mighty power and handiwork.

God is not a beggar. You do not "try" God. You hear the message of the good news of Jesus Christ and make a choice. That's it. God has made Himself known in all His creation and in His written word, the Bible. He spells it out and makes it clear.

I have. I was Catholic. I gave religion and Jesus a chance. I gave them the first 15 years of my life.

Now I'm 23 and an Agnostic and happier....what does that tell you?

No thanks. I'm not going to Hell for worshiping a prophet as a God. I'll stay Muslim. I'm a former Christain and left it because I didn't see how God could exist in three forms or why God would need to kill himself. Plus Prophet Isa(PBUH*) never said he was a "god" or a "son of god". Sura 3:42-53
42.The angels said, "O Mary, GOD has chosen you and purified you. He has chosen you from all the women.
