If you have some Tylenol you can try that but I would recommend calling your doctor's after hours line to let them know what has happened and check with them about what else to do for the burn. In the mean time keeping applying the ice after about 10 minutes off. Also, if you have access to an aloe vera plant and Vitamin E (such as in gel caps) that will help with the burn.

With the aloe vera plant cut a piece of a leaf that is older and then when inside cut off the edges that are a bit sharp, then place on a plate to refridgerate the rest of the leaf after you cut some of the leaf to apply now.

If you don't have access to a plant you can find aloe vera gel in the stores like Wal-Mart.

I burned my hand at work one time and the first aid kit had "Foley ointment". It stoped the pain on contact.

Put polysporin immediately and go to your doctor, or emergency hospital depending on it's condition.

Do not put any grease, cream, neosporin, lotion, ect. on the burn. believe me
You can put you hand in cold running water, but creams and lotions will make it worse. go see a doctor if its really bad
