I have a whole box of oranges. I'm thinking about getting the mess out of the way in one go by squeezing them all now and freezing plastic bottles of juice for later. Will it taste OK when it's thawed and will it have lost any nutrition?

...and can you say "freeze freshly squeezed" quickly five times without getting tongue tied? I can't say it one time properly, lol

It will probably taste great and you will not lose much nutrition by freezing it. Just make sure that you don't heat it to thaw it. Heat destroys vitamin C. If you thaw it in the refrigerator you won't have that problem.

Hi Mate,
Yes you can sqeeze them fresh and put the juice into the freezer, No problems. Best if You add a little sugar to the juice. Sugar will presearve the juice and it is natural. It can be kept for 4 Months under the chiller. I love it that way .

yes you can freeze it but when you do take it out to defrost it you may need to add a little bit of water in it as some people said ice cube trays or bags are a good idea too

to be honest I freeze orange juice often and make that granita. It should be fine, but let thaw completely before using and make sure you shake it up.
