My Aunt did and she had a very peaceful experience. She no longer fears death, either. She left her body and could see the doctors working on her and she felt surrounded by a loving being and she was able to choose to return and raise her children.

There is a book out now. Something like 30 Minutes in Heaven that is really interesting. There are also other books that compare many near death experiences and there are similarities reported from different cultures and reported even by young children.

I hope this helps. I became interested in near death experiences because my Aunt is on of the most trust worthy people EVER and if she had one, as far as I'm concerned, they exist.... :)

I was at a street fair in NYC at the border between little Italy and China Town. My boyfriend and I leaned against a wall and were necking when the heel of my shoe broke. It was a high heel so walking was going to be tricky. We made a quick turn down an alley to see if the heel could be stuck back on and heard a weird noise. Sort of like those rings from years ago that you blew into and it whistled. We went right back to the street but didn't see anything. Then we saw some concrete on the side walk. I was certain it was't there before because I had been looking down at my feet only seconds before. My boyfriend looked at the wall and noted a large chunk missing. Long story short, a gang fight in China Town had carried over to the festival and the sound we heard was a stray bullet hitting the wall I had been leaning up against only seconds before. If my heel hadn't broken we would have still been leaning up against it, and would have certainly been seriously wounded, if not killed.

It seems such as you're lifeless or in a coma. Then somebody tries to choke you to death, you won't be able to see that guy or woman for this is dark interior your head. yet interior the top that somebody became into in basic terms attempting to hold an end on your suffering. you will no longer think of what it feels decide to be alive yet won't be able to circulate or communicate. I have not personally but I have been a nurse for twently years and have talked to several patients who have had them. It is common in all of them to feel absolutely no fear, a detachment from their physical body, and suddenly they are in a different place which is very peaceful One lady said that you get to pick whatever age you want to be in heaven:) Boy the older I get the more I like that idea:)

yeah. i was at the beach with my friend evelyn and it was her first time ever at the beach so she was really excited. she was going really really far out into the ocean so i went to tell her not to go further. i turned around 'cause i heard someone call my name and this huge wave crashed over me. i struggled to get above the water. and then when i did, another huge wave crashed over me. they were pulling me out further into the ocean. i was underwater for like 45 seconds (and since im a dancer i can only hold my breath for like 20 seconds) and i almost drowned and it just kept pulling me further and further and then the lifeguard had to go get me but then he almost drowned but eventually we got out. drowning is so scary. now im pretty much afraid of the beach. but im serious that was the scariest thing ever. i thought i was going to die. and... yeah. it was scary.
