I work with this woman (not in my department). We've gone out a couple of times and we take the same smoke breaks. Two nights ago, we've talked on the phone for about 2 hours, shared a lot of laughs, etc. And one time, we actually kissed.
Now all of a sudden, things have changed. Whenever I walk by, she ignores me. Whenever I step out to have a smoke, she quickly walks back in, regardless if she just lit her cigarette or not. Whenever she's around our mutual friends and coworkers, she quickly cuts her eyes in my direction and suddenly I'm getting the cold shoulder all around, and I'm thinking that she may or may not have said something bad about me.
I know I'm probably gotta get in trouble for saying this but WTF???! I could deal with her just telling me to shove off, but this passive aggressive crap is pissing me off. Is it something I said or did to her directly or indirectly? Or is she just taking the "hard to get" role to a whole other level?
Somebody...anybody...HELP! l LOL

very odd, i would confront her about it, best case scenario its something silly and you can find out whats wrong, worst case, you getpeace of mind .

okay i am like this too...shes shy! she doesn't know what to think, say or how to act now. because you have kissed she doesn't know if you want a relationship or what. trust me she notices you when you walk by and probably wants nothing more then to be with you she just doesn't know what to do. he res where you come in. when you see her walking away go after her pull her aside and ask her why she is avoiding you. corner her so she cant go anywhere but be kind about it.be open and maybe tell her how you feel. this may make her open up...good luck sry for the long speech

She's not playing hard to get. You either did something to tick her off or scare her OR the more likely scenerio is that she found a guy she thinks she's in love with.
Back off, you'll make a fool of yourself if you don't but say hello in the hall and be nice anyway. The truth will gradually come out..........Do NOT try to pursue her under these circumstances. Bide your time or forget her.

I'm afraid you're either going to have to corner her and ask what's up (you know how office rumor mills go...something could have been said) or you'll have to chalk it up to her no longer being interested and let it go.

Maybe she felt it moved tofast and she might have just gotten out of a bad relationship. Try to talk to her and see what you can do to help.
