I'd say 1 and 6. The one with the sunset trees is nice, too, but spoiled by the power lines. The rainbow is poorly composed and the horizon is crooked. Re-crop and straighten and it could be a contender as well. I also like 10.
Good luck in the contest!

I've got to go for #6 and #1. Too bad about the power lines in #4. #5 and #7 are good, and if this isn't a contest a lot of people will look at them and really like them. #10 may also generate some interest, but I would suggest you try cropping out the perpendicular black shape on the left side. All in all I know why you are having trouble choosing only 2--they're all so nice. The only one I wouldn't consider is #3 because the red on the right just draws your eye to it instead of the kitten. Maybe if it were cropped, it's really a nice photo. Good luck deciding what to do, sorry I couldn't help more.

Your best image is the tree and bench. Although, I wish you had given the tree more space, room to grow. if you have access to Photo Shop you might try increasing the contrast and lightening it a little. This image looks a little muddy.
You might get around the cramped image by mounting it on a larger mat board. 5x7 image on an 11x14 board. Look at a dark gray or black board. Go to a framing store and have them help with mat selection. Position the image off center to the right (lower quarter of 11x14 mat). You might consider a double mat.
Positives: Overall image has a "mood", although increasing contrast will help muddiness. There is a subject in the image.
Good Luck!

Athenaa, My favourites are number 6 (the contrast of dark against light is great. The maze of branches against the sky and the subtle variations of blues are visually pleasing). And number 10 because of the black squares of the window and the angle of the view makes for visual interest. All the photos are good and you should be very proud of your work. Good luck with the exhibition.

My favs are 3, 6 and 7
I like 3 because of the composition and subject
6 because of the subject and "coldness" of the photo, you can almost feel the cold!
7 because I really like sunsets and it's a great pic! beautiful colors and contrast to the trees/woods!
Good job! You have talent! Keep taking photos!

I think that 4 & 6 are your best shots. People love the setting sun. In literature it signifies death and promises the rebirth of a new day.
I'm picking #6 because of the high contrasting scene.
Good luck...I think that #4 will make people stop and look!

Sunset is my fave one! Overall, the photography skill is great, just try not to get the window dust or unatural things on the photograph but overall, it's fantastic!
