Sure go ahead, they are probably so loud you can't hold your KKK meeting. I never heard of "cindo de mayo".

Ok. Septemeber 15- midnight celebrates the independence day- and is celebrated by "el grito"- which is the "cry of victory". In Mexico it is celebrated with yelling contests to see who can yell the loudest. It is their celebration.
If you want to be a good neighbor (which I think is always what one should opt for), I would say no. Perhaps go down and talk to them about the noise... Maybe you should join in have a drink or two... Meet a nice senorita, your perspective on life may change....

Loud Mariachi music? Screaming?
Darlin', that's not Cinco de Mayo, that's just a normal Saturday night!
Go ahead and call the cops though. Even gringos get to have fun on Saturday night.
Just FYI: Cinco de Mayo is in May.

Well, Cinco de mayo is a celebration of defeating the french from coming in an changing things or taking over. Kinda like what Mexicans are trying to do to America. I am not raciest, but if they are illegal like you say they should be on there best behavior to not get caught and if they are being destructive and things like that I would call the cops because we dont need anymore crime in America. If they are legal let them celebrate (kinda weird to celebrate in september but whatever)

If its before 10 PM, Shut up!
After 10PM do as you wish,
the neighbor may be a Vato Loco and you will have mucho payback.
Making life miserable is a two way street.

Sept. 16 is the independence of Mexico. Tel them ¨Kai ya te¨it means shut up. If you tell them to be quiet in english they will respect you. They don´t want problems. If they will not be quiet then call the police. I am married to a mex who was illegal and they are hard headed but usually do not want problems. If you want to be rude blare some american music and tell them you will be calling Immigration.

you and alot of users on here are so dumb. First of all they are celebrating El Grito (Mexico's Independence Day), NOT Cinco de Mayo. second, legal, Mexicans Americans celebrate this holiday too. so you cant say that those people are "illegal."

And you know these guys are illegal because...?
Sorry--the fact that they speak Spanish in their own home and play Hispanic music isn't proof that anybody is illegal, and anyone who has gone through all the trouble to be a LEGAL immigrant is worthy of our praise, not our scorn. If you have them on a noise violation, report that--just as they have a right to report you for blasting whatever you like to listen to.
Oh--and Cinqo de Mayo is the 5th of May. I'm in no way Hispanic, and even I know that much.

Well first, it's September 15th. That's Mexican Independence Day. Cinco de Mayo is May 5th. Just leave them alone, and let them celebrate. Perhaps knock on the door and let them know that it's a little too loud and see if they will turn it down. Try to be diplomatic. They may be illegal but they are still your neighbors, and they are celebrating an important day.
