Hey little lady, first of all a person trying to be so crafty in a situation like that would not be a true christian. Also death can be a lot faster than being on a death bed. What about sleeping and never waking up huh................too late.

The key is in the sincerity of your repentance. If you have had kids you know when they are sorry and when they are "saying" sorry. It is pretty much the same deal; repent earnestly and with true sorrowful regret for your sin and you will be cleansed.
You cannot judge a celestial God by earthly, human based standards. There are no loop holes with God, because he knows your heart.

If death bed repentence is a loop hole....it's because God wants it to be.

Actually, if you die with something in your suitcase that was not properly destroyed here and now, it goes with you and is not loosed by death at all. The death bed repentance is a hoax.

At ANY time when someone accepts Jesus Christ, they are saved. Period. It does not matter if they have murdered 10,000 people and then are on their death bed....It doesn't seem fair to those of us who try to walk the walk each day...BUT that person also never had the joy and peace throughout their life that a Christian has.

When someone asks a question such as this I think of a Christian, German concentration camp guard at Auschwitz in 1944. He has a loving family who he takes to church every Sunday without fail. On this day, he is leading a family of Jews to their deaths in the gas chamber. Here's where things get confusing for me. According to the bible, all the German guard must do is accept Jesus as his savior and the son of god and ask for forgiveness of this terrible sin of multiple murders of innocent victims, and he will dwell in heaven forever when he dies after living a long and fruitful life. The innocent Jewish family, however, because they don't believe just as the German does, after having their lives cut miserably short and not allowed to bring up children have, grandchildren and enjoy the other niceties of life like the German will enjoy, will burn in hell for eternity. That's just sick man.

No your repentance has to be sincere.

The bible says that there will be many poeple who die and face him and he will say I don't know you. And they will say but we healed in your name etc....and he will say I have never known you.

That is because their are many many people who claim to be Christians that aren't....and their are many people who will think they are saved because of their works and they won't be and their will be many Christians doing the death bed repentance.

Oh... a loophole - that is what it is about?
We are accountable for our sin unless it is forgiven through acceptance of Christ... whether early in life or by his grace at the end of our lives.
Such a small prism you are using to see God's love through - he is great and loving - not about loopholes or games.

God's judgment is right. We also miss out His blessings here if we leave it to the death bed.

God will hold everyone accountable on earth who didn't get around to placing their faith in Him while they were alive. Those who accepted Christ will get a free trip in the express lane to heaven
