Rylen being 15 months will love containers of all kinds. So start collecting! Empty plastic containers and little boxes that she can open and close will be fascinating to her. Make sure that the tops of the bottle are tightly sealed (or removed for her to poke her finger through) so that she won't choke on the tops and sit with her while she plays to ensure that she is safe. Keep her in your sight at all times - even if you go to the toilet - this age group is notorious for disappearing in an instant. Enjoy!

Is Rylen a toddler? I'm going to assume so. You get baby gates or chairs laying sideways to prevent her from leaving the main room. Childproof the main room as best you can, and buy her some new toys (you can go to resale shops, goodwill, etc. or just borrow some from a neighbor. Keeping her busy will help keep her happy. Try giving her your measuring spoons or a big plastic spoon and a bowl. Even an empty box is a lot of fun for a kid.
It's not the end of the world for the child to cry. She's got to get used to disappointments here and there, and she needs to eventually realize that an adult "No!" means there may be some hurt to her if she disobeys. So a baby puckering up because she can't play with something adult--you can get her to stop by distracting her--food, bath, look out the window, go for a walk, or seeing a new way to use an old toy. It's okay.

First go around the house at her level and put things that she can reach out of her reach. In essence 'baby proof' the house. Second when she has a potentially hazardous item that can hurt her take it away and replace it with something she can have. Yes she may cry for a bit but she will stop. If you get her interested in something else she will forget about what she can not do . You didn't mention the age of Rylen so try to do age appropriate activities with her. coloring is always fun even if they get out of the lies you get the chance to color and get away with it LOL. Have fun.

At her age my son loved to paint or play with play dough, you can make play dough quite easily and it won't do any harm if she eats some of it :-
Ingredients
1 cup of plain flour
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
half a cup of salt
food colouring (optional)
Method 1 - Saucepan
Place all the ingredients in a saucepan at a low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens to a firm dough texture.
Method 2 - Microwave
Place all the ingredients in a plastic container and cook for one and a half minutes in a microwave. Stir the mixture and microwave again for one minute.
I don't recommend changing your house around, (unless you have knives within her reach!!) because children need to learn NO. If she touches things she shouldn't, tell her firmly NO and move her away, let her cry but also try to distract her with something she can have.

By the time you baby proof everything it will be time for her to go home. Stay with her always and keep an eye on her. Play with her. 15 month olds should never be bored, there is so much to do. Dance, sing, read stories! Paint, draw, colour!

I would lock up all items that will get her into trouble. Go to Walmart and buy those safety ties that lock the cabinet doors together. These are pretty cheap. I also pulled the knobs off the stove so that my son could not turn the stove on. Remember to unplug kitchen appliances like the toaster oven. My son liked to turn on everything he could get his hands on. Remember to hide the knives and scissors. I had one kid that cut up the computer and phone cords.
