There is nothing in the state issued regulation book that says it is resident only. You of course would have to have all your permits,liscence, and proof of hunter education. Try the DNR website, there should be links there to ask further questions.(www.dnr.state.il.us)

The Illinois Dept of natural resources can tell you. You can hunt in Illinois but if you are a non-resident, the price is pretty high. I think it is around $250.00 for the deer permit and then of course a non-resident hunting license and habitat stamp.
Can be expensive but deer are plentiful in most parts of the state. I wish you luck.

It isnt only for residents, anyone who has tags for Illinois and they have their hunting lisence and stamps, you are fine. When youth hunting, you have to have a Supervisor within earshot. Tags for out of state hunters and non land owners are expensive, so buy wisely. Id say there is no need for more than two.
