I really want to know how my family and I would go about moving from California to British Columbia Canada. I have no clue about what would need to be done to move to another country. The paper work needed etc.... I would really appreciate some help with this. So how would I go about doing this big relocation?

Here is the official Canadian Immigration website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca

All of the information, forms, and instructions are included on the website, which is straight forward and easy to navigate. In you case, it sounds like you would be immigrating on the basis of a skilled worker. There is a worksheet to figure out your chances of immigration.

The process will take 1-3+ years and cost about $1,200 per person in application fees and associated costs.

I suggest you go through and read all the parts of the immigration website that are applicable to you, as well as doing additional research on Canada, learning all you can about it's political system, economics, education, and everything else.

Canada is a great place to live and raise kids!!
