Mosquitos "allegie" with eucalyptus oil. You can burn some eucalyptus leaves so that the smell keep the mosquito away, but the best are still apply it on ur skin
It is safe. In my country they even use it to put on children skin

I saw this show where they flip houses and they put a bat house outside. The bats live in this box and come out and eat the giant mosquitoes. I thought it was really cool.

You can just add a sheet of Dryer Fabric Softener ! Carry it under a collar or in a pocket and no bugs! And you'll smell good too! A golfer's trick.

You do know it is only the female that bites, anyway in Australia we can buy these little rectangular strips that fit into a attachnent that plugs into your power point, they are very good, don't know where you are, but check to see if you can get them.

Citronella candles work well out-doors.
You can get citronella oil to put in a lamp.
Or those green coils that smoke when lit.

get one of those lanterns that attract mosquitos and zap them when they touch. It might be hard to sleep, but its better than being bitten right?
