i have no idea if this is normal but my gutts are telling me other ways. well here we go.
-i was suicidal and for some 3-4 years.
-i get distracted constantly by the silliest things.
-i have been told i have a.d.d. becuase i cant concentrate on my work, people, converstions and etc.
-i usually have my ups and down during the day..
-i get along with grown ups than people my age.
-i'm too attached to the philosophy type of stuff...
-i was anorexic when i was 9-11 years of age.
-when im listening to music and doing my homework or doing random things online i have a hard time reading the screen becuase the lyrics are distracting me constantly...so i stopped doing that.
-i cannot read when there are people around me, i have to close the doors, close the blinds and turn off everything!!
-i have trust issues
-i constantly want to plan my whole life...right then.

ok im not depressed right now.. i am happy most of the time. i am human.

the food i eat are mostly veggies and hardly any meat. i dont drink soft drinks instead i drink green tea and chamomile tea.. or any other tea.

i have talked to some adults about it but they said it was just post depression.. and i didnt believe them so i stopped going to that place which was in april.

i find it strange that i am one of the youngest people in my school that like philosophy. i have no problem but my teachers especially my ap world history teacher told me to not get involved with it too much because i am maturing in a fast rate. i have no idea what he means.

Elizabeth, you've listed an awful lot of "issues" here that may or may not be related to each other. Being distracted by things and having a hard time concentrating don't necessarily mean you have ADD. Some people can attend to numerous things at the same time. Other people can't do that. It's not necessarily a type of pathology, it just may be that you have to focus on one task at a time with no noise or distractions around.

I don't know exactly what you mean when you say you're too attached to the philosophy type of stuff. This is a problem...why?

The history of suicidal thoughts, anorexia and depression are symptoms of a condition that can be treated with therapy and medication. The bottom line here is, you're not going to get much help with these things from people on a forum like this. You're going to have to see a doctor to find a treatment plan for your issues.

what do you eat?

of more importantly, what do you drink?

I guarantee that if a company has to spend a lot on advertising, their product is not good for you. Cola etc, and fast food.

no need to go vegan, macrobiotic, just be aware what some food does to you and me.

If a product list of ingredients with too many E numbers, forget it. especially the colourants E101 to E110.

I agree with Menthoids. Don't ask Yahoo! Get professional help. This is your life - don't trust it to the bunch of us! If you can't get your parents to help then talk to the school counselor. You are not psychotic, but you do have issues that need the attention of a professional. Best of wishes, and God bless you Hon.

Sounds like depression, bipolar, possibly ADD (although the ADD symptoms could be linked with the bipolar symptoms) and perhaps OCD / anxiety.
But...
I'm not your psychiatrist. If you seek one, or a therapist out, they can give you an official diagnosis with different tests, and they can help you from there.

You definitely need to see a psychiatrist for a diagnosis. Yahoo isn't going to do that for you. Give yourself a chance for a happy life and work with a professional. I wish you the best.

You don't need Yahoo, you need a professional diagnosis and treatment designed for you by that professional. By professional, I don't mean a naturopath or charman, I mean a psychiatrist, you can be referred by your GP or local hospital. Ongoing problems since childhood need proper attention. Best wishes.

Do you have a father, a close relationship with him ?

Because if you don't this might be the cause and it also sounds like depression to me.
