Take the car to a third party mechanic to look at. If they don't see anything wrong with it, it sounds like a good deal to me. The only thing that concerns me is it sounds like someone watched "The Fast and the Furious" when they bought this car and could possibly have driven it like they were Paul Walker or Vin Diesel. That is the problem that you run into when buying a used vehicle that the previous owner attempted to turn into a "Tuner" car. Reverse slams or neutral drops aren't good for the transmission.

I've got one and had never had any problems with it except that I had to replace the AC condenser. I always use synthetic oil in mine. Some people think that these cars are not good but I see 100s on the road. I know two people that have over 150k on theirs and they are still running. As for the price of 4995--I think you could get it for at least 500 less.

Dodges are well known for being heavier and bigger gas tanks for bigger gas usage. Personally I prefer the Ford pickup with its front end suspension and the Chevy car for its performance. So in an accident I would like to have the metal around me that the Dodge has. So if you look at it and it meets your demands I say go for it.

Can you contact the second owner ? The dealer should give you at least a 30 day defect warranty. If he refuses the warranty, walk.
