I would not leave a child completely unattended in a tub until they are school aged. My Mom didn't either. Yes, lots of people do, and statistically, they are the ones most likely to have an injured child (mostly from falls, rather than drowning, but still--crack your head on a hard tub side and you don't do so well).

My daughter is 8 and mostly showers and all alone, I still check on her from time to time especially if she is taking to long, making sure she is not making a mess lol and okay. I started leaving her for a few minutes around 6.

6 or 7 sounds good to me...im always scared of that though so im extra cautious

i think 6-7 years old....I have a 7 year old and he is in there by himself while i get his sisters dressed.

my son is four and i leave him for a minute most alone. only to grab his pjs or a towel

3 as long as you check every few minutes. 4-5 they are good on thier own, but need help with shampooing.
