It varies, sometimes for life. Sometimes seasonal. If you are young you may out grow some of them.

I had mine for nine years. However, I think mine were a little longer than most peoples, because they had a problem increasing the dosage since I kept reacting. It was over five years before I was on maintanence dose. It has now been over five years since I had any allergy shots and I still have the benefit.

your doctor will increase the doses of the shots until you can maintain them and be able to fight it yourself. it basically depends on your immune system and how allergic you are.
