Cut out the salt in your diet. Only drink things with no calories, learn to drink water. Cut out the starches in your diet: pasta, chips, bread, potatoes. Eat salads & veggies. No fat for a least a month. Start right now. Throw the chips in the trash & pour the soda down the drain unless it's a diet soda.
Get plenty of rest & walk, this is the easiest exercise. And at least you are going somewhere. Maybe just around the block or go to the mall . Walk one side all the way to the end. Cross over then walk the other side.

If you do not have a lot to lose, it would not be healthy to try to lose that much in a week. If you have a lot to lose, by just following a healthy eating plan, like weight watchers, and drinking lots of water will help. Fad diets do not work. The weight will come back. I know from experience.

If that is all you want to do, there is the classic RAW foods diet. Eat only uncooked and unprocessed food (possible exception is Hard-boiled egg) for a week...hard!
Tomatoes, veggies, fruits, greens and that will do it!
Also another method is to go carbohydrate free for two weeks.
eggs, meat, fish, chicken and turkey, some fruits, etc and cottage cheese. Keep that carb count way down, below 25 a DAY!
make sandwiches from Rolled up Romaine lettuce with meats, cheeses etc. Read labels
No "white stuff."..bread, pasta, potatoes, sugar...at all!

Watch Biggest Loser. They have great low-fat foods and stuff and good exercises. To lose that much you not only reduce sugar intake but increase exercise.

that's not very healthy, I agree with the previous answer ocmpletely. I guess the safest way is cut meal/portion sizes down, but not extremely.
