There is no standard "meaning or purpose to life." Each person must find his/her own meaning and purpose. To do so, we must do two things: 1) commit ourselves to other individuals and to our communities and 2) use our innate abilities to create something that makes us feel that our lives have purpose and meaning for ourselves as individuals.
