Shivering is a normal reaction to cold for warm blooded animals that includes Aves (birds) and Mammals. Muscles near vital organs begin rhythmic contractions to produce heat. Thus it is a kind of defense mechanism again cold.

It is the wonderful thing about us humans. We have an internal heating and cooling system that is responding to the signals the brain is getting from your environment. Shaking and shivering help us warm up.

ahh i get that all the timee when im cold liek a really quickk shivver through your spinee. and it makes your entire body shake reall fastt. its just your bodyy adjusting to the environment that your in.
