I don't think pre-marital sex is wrong. I feel people are being cruelly judged for no reason when all they are doing is enjoying something God gave them. Now many may give some bible verses or talk about stds and pregnancies. People use things against pre-marital sex such as soul bonding, one flesh, body being a living temple, marry or burn. I have read it all, yes i own a bible. But God never said anything against it in the bible once. People set up each of those verses against it. There are many examples in the bible that shows God doesn't care nor will he punish that. How can 2 people loving eachother responsibly be a sin. God is not the Terminator, he's not a bully. He doesn't go down streets bullying people and picking on them and he doesn't scare them. He doesn't set people up for failure, giving them desires he created and then telling them they are wrong and given by the devil. Im not giving the devil any credit for what God created. If anyone wants to comment feel free to.

People are starting to think im saying this my standards. these are Gods standards. This is his creation. This isn't about me, this is all from him. People who choose not to have sex until marriage, thats fine. Theres nothing wrong with that. But don't think your remaining pure by doing it.

I am getting many verses from corintians. People don't realize that was a place with many pagan prostitutes (sleeping with them to worship sex gods). This is why its one flesh. Flesh is evil. When people back then slept with those pagan prostitutes they became one flesh and sinned against there own body. Why did the Paul say prostitutes for one flesh. Thats why he wanted them to have atleast one wife or husband. So they would not turn to these prostitutes and sin against God. Back in the OT Many had many wives and concubines(sex slaves captured in war..not wifes) and were still blessed by God.

People are replying saying i am following man. Let me make this clear. The Bible is the truth, not me. God and Jesus are the truth. In this truth it said nothing against sex out of marriage. Ever heard the song i will dance like david Danced. He danced naked, then he told his wife, the women that you were so jealous of were very happy to see me. God never said it was lust. Also in Deutonomy chapter 22.28 i talks about pre-marital sex and there is no punishment and it is not fornication. wouldn't God tell us, he corrected David when he sinned. David said God please tell me if there is any impure way in me. Did God say you have more than 1 wife and you have concubines. No. God doesn't change, he stays the same. Therefore if it wasn't wrong then it isn't wrong now. Sex is healthy for human beings. People just have to be responsible about it. Thats All God wants. You may not believe it, thats fine, this is just for those that feel bad about it, you shouldn't and God loves you.

"Just so you know though, if something is wrong and everyone in the world is doing it......it's still wrong"

Even David, and Solomon, and Abraham, the one with many sons. The one we sing songs about. God doesn't come to confuse us. He did not come to bring fear. He told us not to be of the spirit of fear but of Power/ Power to know the truth. Love/ Love for one another. And a Sound mind/ Peace. My favorite verse in the Bible.

Does the word fornication mean anything to you?

But yyou are in control of you. Sounds like you're looking for approval and a way to justify.
That's cool, many people do that about many things.

Just so you know though, if something is wrong and everyone in the world is doing it......it's still wrong

Actually the Bible is clear that fornication is a sin. Fornication is defined as: Voluntary sexual intercourse between persons not married to each other. The verse below makes it clear that it is a sin. You can have all the convictions you want. If they go against the Bible they are incorrect. If you engage in premarital sex and do not repent and stop sinning willfully you will be in danger of hell fire.

1Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

It is clear from what you write you are not seeking the truth. You are seeking to justify your sins.

2Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Well the only thing I can tell you is that having premarital sex is like playing Russian Roulette. Not only with your physical body, but with your heart, mind and soul as well. You might not be able to see this right now, but down the line I promise you it will become apparent. It doesn't matter what religion you are, or even if you have one at all. What's important is taking care of yourself in the best way possible.

You have a solid belief about this, and you have a good rationale. You no longer need to seek validation from everyone else about it.

For the record, I also believe that pre-marital sex is okay if enjoyed responsibly. I've watched too many people get married way too young, and I strongly believe it's because they had demonized and forbidden themselves from physical intimacy until exchanging vows. Society doesn't reward us for marrying and having kids at an early age; rather quite the opposite.

We need to spend more time getting an education and qualifying ourselves for more expert-level jobs in today's economy. We really shouldn't even be thinking about marriage until our mid-20s these days. You think sane people will wait until age 25 to have sex? Think again. I'm 23, and I know zero people my age who are still virgins. If you're a virgin by this age, you'll have a hard time finding anyone who wants to be your first.

Actually he did say something against it in the Bible. You need to read your Bible more closely. You can believe whatever you want, but you would be wise to see what God believes and follow his will since his plan is the best plan for us.

I Corinthians 7:2, "Nevertheless, to avoid fornication (premarital sex), let every man have his own wife and every woman have her own husband".

and every sin has consequences...see people sleeping around? what did that result? STD's

Just wait for marriage, unlike animals, we have self control..use it

I Corinthians 6:9-11, "Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the Kingdom of God"

If it hurts others, it's wrong. If not, it's not.

There's nothing wrong with sex; however, if you read the bible you'll discover a lot of what the christian god allegedly does is very wrong indeed.

Sex feels good. Do it as much as you can, while you can. Why worry about what other people think? Always be responsible for your actions though.

Sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman is wrong and it is a sin, no matter how you try to justify your self it is still wrong and still a sin.
