why !!!!!! it never did !!!!!! i had it for a month

That's what I thougt about my cockatiel! But one day i saw him drinking water. This is my 5th year with him and I have only seen him drink water 4 times. He always drinks when I'm not looking.

birds drink water every day they need water to digest there food , so even though u may not see the parakeet drinking the water dosnt mean its not drinkin g , they drink small amounts several times a day , so u need to amke sure there is fresh water avalable all the tim e for the birs as well as food erc

It's drinking water, or it would be dead. The drink very little, but make sure you put fresh water in the cup every day, and keep the cup clean.

They always drink - they have too. Like the others say, it is REALLY important that your bird has access to clean water every day.....really important.

maybe it drinks water but you don't see it.
