When you build as many Kingdom Halls as we do each year, you save money by not having windows, we do not waste money. The money we save in a year, with the amount of Halls being build, would more than likely pay for a Kingdom Hall.
Many of our Kingdom Halls do have windows, the one I attend, in CA. does not.
Kingdom Hall Construction
During the service year, 2,340 Kingdom Halls were completed around the world. This represents an average of 195 halls per month, or just over 6 per day! Since November 1999 when the construction program in lands with limited resources began, 23,700 Kingdom Halls have been built. As of right now, 40 Kingdom Halls are being build each week of the year. In many areas, once a hall is finished, meeting attendance soars and halls are soon filled to capacity.

Yes. Honestly I have visited quite a few Halls over the years, the 4 Kingdom Halls I have gone to most often varied.
The first one Definitely did not have windows, BAD BAD BAD neighborhood. We had to have steel doors and iron gates, and our air unit in a brick cage.
The next one didn't, most likely because it is more cost effective to build without windows, and the neighborhood was progressively getting worse.
When we rebuilt it to a double Hall, we went ahead and put in windows, as with 2 Halls, there is almost always someone there, so safety is less an issue, and oddly allot of the neighbors had strange ideas for why there weren't windows.
The one in my current city has windows, it is a rather safe area.

I was raised in the Jehovah's Witnesses organization. As a youngster I attended services in 7 or 8 different Hall buildings, and none had windows.
...For the most part, Kingdom Halls don't have windows for security purposes, and to save money. Kingdom Halls are usually built by its members in 2-3 days(after the foundation is set).

I Revised Mine because I came to realize how Gullible you are. You only asked this after someone asked you too.
Well Gullible one, Many Kingdom Halls had been Broken into along with Many Religious Buildings, so the Best Defense turned out to be the Best offense. The Windows are situated in such a Fashion that Thieves would not see anything inviting or enticing. My Original Opinion still stands. You Gullible.

I am not a Witness but I have been to many, many meetings with friends at a Kingdom Hall. That one did have windows, but many new ones don't to save on construction costs. They truly are not hiding anything by not having windows.

Many do have windows, much consideration is given to have or have not. Security is a factor.
No! Ours does not., but it did years ago prior to remodeling.
Another in Indiana did have and the sun used to hit me in the eye.
The one they built after we moved did not have windows.

They don't.
And you won't get any REAL JW's answering. But the answer is simple; if you are doing something illegal, immoral or just plain disgusting, you draw the curtains don't you?
Same principle at work with the JW's
