I merely discovered this one in imaginitive living at college on Friday. Like once you place quite ice in aluminum foil and wrap it up and placed it interior the microwave it is going to come out nonetheless quite ice un-melted because of the fact the microwaves bounce off of the aluminum foil.

I just learned this one in Creative Living in school on Friday. Like when you put a piece of ice in aluminum foil and wrap it up and put it in the microwave it will come out still a piece of ice un-melted because the microwaves bounce off of the aluminum foil.

It is hot, but it just cools off very fast too, so by the time you touch the foil, it has had time to cool.

alluminum is a good conducter of heat. meaning it takes heat and moves it along, it doesn't hold onto it.
and since the foil is so thin, it happens quite rapidly.
