People are burying their heads in the various sandy deserts that there are and comlpetely fail to see the effects of decaying nature , water and vegetable reserves that is caused by both global warming and an expanding population.

The only way to manage dwindling resourses is to reduce the population. People think it is about space but it is not. For instance the entire population of earth can fit in the Saudi Desert but will it sustain them? I think not.

What a loaded question, a good question but loaded. First of all are you talking about a race of people or all the people on earth? If all the people on earth then obviously yes. Can we all get along? no. Is there hope for peace (be realistic) its impossible. As long as the sick are sick and the hungery are not fed and the poor are moaning and the rich are oppressing them and Satan has dominion then there will be bloodshed for survival or freedom or a demand on a desperately needed commodity that a civilization is dependant apon (e.g. oil or food) . To sum it up we won't have peace untill Jesus comes and provides enough food, clothing, shelter healing (of emotions and physical wounds and every disease) for everyone and brings justice to all the earth by banishing satan and his people there will not be peace because of chaos and sin. Satans dominion and the Kingdom of Heaven will be fighting till the end of the world. But seriously think about all that must be in order for there to be shalom or real peace in the entire sinfull world. The world would have to be sinless. Look I only had four hours of sleep so I am sure some of this probably doesn't make sense:)

If billions are to be raised from the dead, where will they all live?

A very liberal estimate of the number of people who have ever lived on earth is 20,000,000,000. As we have seen, not all of these will be resurrected. But, even if we assume that they would be, there would be ample room. The land surface of the earth at present is about 57,000,000 square miles. If half of that were set aside for other purposes, there would still be just a little less than an acre per person, which can provide more than enough food. At the root of present food shortages is not any inability of the earth to produce sufficient but, rather, political rivalry and commercial greed.

“Amazing as it may seem, the entire population of the world can be housed in the U.S. state of Texas,” reports Vitality magazine. According to the article, the current United Nations estimate of the world’s population is over six billion people, and Texas has a land area of some 262,000 square miles. The amount of living space per person would therefore be more than 1,217 square feet. “A family of 5 would thus occupy more than 6,085 square feet of living space. Even in Texas, that’s a mansion,” says Vitality. “Meanwhile, the rest of the world would be completely empty, available for all of mankind’s agricultural, manufacturing, educational, and recreational activities!”

I read in an atlas that there is enough room in the world for everyone to have an area the size of 4 football fields. I'm not sure if that's counting oceans or not...

But we all fit on earth rite? So no duh...

not the earth- but rather are the hearts of each individual big enough?

my way of christianity- try and convert someone, bring them into God's love, etc etc, but if they don't except it, drop it and continue being friends with them. there's nothing more i could do- might as well not start a war over it.

You could put the whole population in a 1 acre area apiece to fill Texas.

You do the rest of the math.

Yes - it is the human heart's greediness that makes it seem it isn't.
