1st Point ... you really DON'T have First Amendment "rights" in school. It is considered a special environment ...

"(a) First Amendment rights of students in the public schools are not automatically coextensive with the rights of adults in other settings, and must be applied in light of the special characteristics of the school environment. A school need not tolerate student speech that is inconsistent with its basic educational mission, even though the government could not censor similar speech outside the school." Hazelwood School Dist. v. Kuhlmeier (1988)

2nd point: First Amendment "rights" are not for misbehaving school children!

3rd point: If you have to write an essay on this topic, I suggest that you get a proofreader because your word usage and grammar are atrocious!

Yes. schools are allowed to do that, especially private schools (such as mine, an all-male preparatory school). In fact, private schools are even allowed by law to use corporal punishment (i.e. spanking you) as a form of punishment.

Even so, it seems like what you are describing is a "daily participation" system. if you act unruly, at the teachers' discretion, he/she can take away those points. that isn't wholly unfair.

they haven't taken your freedom of speech away perse you can still speak. If you say something you won't be imprisoned for it etc. there are consequences to what you say but the same is true for everyone else in society. If your teacher went out and called your class a group of pig fu\ckers in front of the principal and your parents he wouldn't go to jail but there would be hell to pay I'm sure.

I think you're not evaluating what freedom of speech is correctly.
