wen im in the shower my cats hop in and get wet or if im in the sink they will sit in it while im filling it up

Haha, I have a cat who does this too!
Gypsie, my youngest of the three, always sits on the edge of the bathrub while I take a bath, and she will also jump in when Im taking a shower. It's pretty strange since most cats do not like water, at all. I just think it's her personality and thats just how she is..Not all cats are alike, each one is very different and unique and sometimes they do things that surprise you ; )

My sister had a cat that did the same thing. Apparently some cats just like water. Consider yourself fortunate. I have one who's 19 lbs and needs a bath badly. He's an indoor cat. Because I picked out the wrong faucet for my kitchen sink when my husband began remodelling, I can't give Tuffy, nor Peanut a bath. Now I have to go out and get another whole new faucet that has a detachable sprayer just to bathe them.
So count your blessings. Your cats likes baths!

Some cats are like that-- I used to have one that liked playing in the water dish. It's a myth that all cats hate water.

I agree while most cats don't like water or getting wet some do. I had a black cat named Spooky. He loved being outside and wouldn't come in when it was raining. He loved it.

the myth about the cats and water thing is so fake. Some of them do hate water though. Then again, how much would you like it if you jumped in uncomfortably tempertured water all of a sudden. anyway, hope this helps.

Some cats do like water. I had one who liked sitting outside in the rain, and when I watered the plants she would often get in the way and get herself all wet.
I even had a Ocicat who would swim in the pond...

lol, one of my cats loves the water in the sink. he'll bite at it and slap it. the other cat hates it. she nearly has a panic attack when the water is running.
