PDF's designed not to be copied or messed with to prevent plagerism, copyright infringments etc. If you get adobe creator (costs money) then you can open and edit PDF's, as long as they are not passworded. If you want to include a PDF in a document, just drag and drop the file into word and it will appear as an image in the document. Or use insert from file for the same effect.

You need Adobe Acrobat (Not the reader, the full program) or another PDF editor to edit PDF files. Acrobat installs itself into all of the Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, etc) so you can create and edit PDF's from within them.
