Chinese Muslims who developed MA styles did so waaaay before 1960.
One of the arts that come from them is Tantui - Spring-leg.
Zhaquan, Qishiquan, Huihui Shiba Zhou, Xinyiliuhequan, Piguaquan and Tongbeiquan(Ma Xianda learned through his family tradition) are supposedly from the Chinese Muslims. Most of these arts are very old.
Some say that they originate with the Kaifeng Jews.
Either way, these arts are from way before the 1960's
