I believe the person that is disfellowshipped simply tells them at their meetings as they approach. Eventually, everyone else finds out. Also, I was told they annouce it to their congregation.

There is no marking. Honestly, if someone who is disfellowshipped is coming to the Hall, most likely wishing to begin living as a Christian again, they are respectful enough to let us know they are disfellowshipped. Others who leave the congregation often don't have much connections to us, as their lives go off in another direction. There are times when Witnesses and former Witnesses end up together, such as being work mates. In that case they keep things professional. My brother is disfellowshiped. Honestly, our lives have very little in common. We don't really talk much anyway. When something brings us together, like when my father was dying, we both simply acted like adults, and were polite to each other, then went about our business.

Do Research On The Scriptures BEFORE Posting you could save yourself much trouble.
The admotion on Not speaking to people who are disfellowshipped was Carried out In the First Century...
Paul wrote to the Corinthians about one who practices gross sin and is not repentant. Such unrepentant sinners had to be excluded from the congregation. The “wicked” man had to be handed over to Satan, as it were. Thereafter, loyal Christians were not to mix with such wicked ones; the apostle John urged Christians not even to greet them. (1 Corinthians 5:1-13; 2 John 9-11)

The disfellowshipped person usually tells other J.W's their situation. So if you want them to stop visiting you just tell them you are a disfellowshipped Witness

Those whom have been disfellowshipped and what to return to the safety of Jehovah's arms, know the correct and loving thing to do. Disfellowshipping is a act of love, but those of you that are not servant of Jehovah will never understand it.

Think about it do you not correct your child if he/she does not obey your rules, and continue to do as they please? It may break your heart, but you know that you are doing the best thing for them

They announce it.

Not a jw, Common sense. Lol what did you think they did? Brand them with a cattle prod?

AND to canadian. If they repent, the jw will help them. YOU ONLY GET DISFELLOWSHIPPED IF YOU CONTINUE DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND YOU KNOW IT IS WRONG!

everyone knows who is disfellowshipped. They announce it. If you didn't hear the announcement at the meetings, someone else will tell you.

Wow.

One more reason why I loathe Jehova's Witnesses

- They annoy people in their homes

- They let children who need blood die horrible deaths

etc. etc.

And now I learn that instead of trying to build up a person in need, they exclude them and try to make their life miserable?
